Paloma AI LightNodes and validators will be happy with Paloma v2.4.3. No more transaction fees on Paloma means that validators now no longer have to worry about eating up transaction fees when their pigeons send updates. Paloma LightNodes no longer need to worry about continuing fee payments when LightNodes are in
automate
state. Any developer can now build transaction-free applications on Paloma, including trading and DeFi applications.
PALOMA v2.4.5 TARGET RELEASE FOR THIS WEEK: ZERO GAS FEES FOR PALOMA GOT TALENT AND PALOMADEX TRADING
The next version of Paloma will reduce fees even further. Paloma will now add to governance a fee-grant module from the Paloma community fund to pay for gas for any voted addresses in governance. We aim to make it easy and fast for anyone to start trading on Paloma from any other blockchain.
PALOMA’S GOT TALENT WILL LAUNCH TO THE COMMUNITY ON JANUARY 24, 2025
PALOMA’s GOT TALENT AI LaunchPad will launch to the Paloma flock on January 24, 2025. Our objective will be to bring a fully functioning AI launchpad and token trading platform for video creators to Paloma. Trades will occur on Paloma, but Paloma bridge will handle all liquidity from the EVMs to Paloma. Users will not need GRAINs to create tokens or to trade. We aim to make it easy to scale up AI launches on Paloma. We will be starting with the battle of the Cat Tokens! COO! COO
PALOMA VALIDATOR ENTOMBED: PLEASE REDELEGATE FROM DEAD VALIDATOR
COO! COO! The validator SALOMON accidentally double-signed their validator during a transition to a new data center. As a result, delegators on that validator lost 5% of their stake with the slashing event. All pigeons are asked to redelegate their stake to other active validators. Paloma LightNode users must run their light nodes with the
automate
command to redelegate their stake automatically. If you do not run your Lightnode, your stake will stay with the dead validator. Please run your lightnode to migrate your LightNode stake.
