COO! COO! Flock, Welcome to the wrap of another week in the nest. Today, we missed our onboarding deadline for Paloma’s Got Talent. More work is required on Paloma’s Bonding Curve automation for token creation and bridging to the EVM. That work continues next week, as well as the launch of integration testing with Paloma’s Got Talent Front-End. Over 30 new token creators and tokens are signed up to launch with Paloma’s Got Talent. We will add another 70 new tokens from TikTok creators this coming week. Paloma is also preparing work on an upgrade on Monday to unlock the burnt 1.3 Billion GRAINs stuck on BASE. COO! COO! PALOMA WILL SCHEDULE A VOTE TO BURN 1.3 BILLION GRAINS ON BASE AND MINT ON PALOMA TO RECOVER FOR THE PALOMA DEX LAUNCH
Approximately 1.3 Billion Ecosystem GRAINs are to be burned on BASE. These tokens were from the Paloma’s Foundation Ecosystem Pool that was to be launched on Solana. The GRAINs could not be brought back to Paloma via the Skyway Bridge due to a balance bug in the PalomaERC20 design. That token design was fixed, and new tests will be included, along with an upgrade to the protocol to unlock the 1.3 billion grains on Paloma via a new mint. After a vote to approve the mint action, this one-time mint will be removed from Paloma. The minted GRAINs will then be used as a pool for GRAINs/PUSD on PalomaDex.
PALOMA USD IS LIVE ON PALOMA AND ALL EVM CHAINS! COO! COO!
The Volume and Paloma team successfully completed testing of Paloma USD (PUSD) backed by Tether’s USDT stable on all target chains. This means that anyone on Paloma can now use PUSD, backed by USDT on any target chain to trade against tokens and to fund AI agents on Paloma. PalomaUSD can be minted by anyone on any EVM. Withdrawal is done by burning PUSD to redeem USDT on the target chain. The minimum amount for redemption is $100 PUSD. Tests for deposits and withdrawals were successful today.
PALOMA’S GOT TALENT AI LAUNCHPAD MOVED TO THE FEBRUARY 14, 2025, LAUNCH
Ongoing work continues on Paloma’s Got Talent Bonding Curve contracts next week now that full automation with the Paloma Skyway Bridge on Paloma’s target EVM is available. Also, Paloma’s Got Talent is targeting to launch 100 tokens on the platform on February 14, 2025. Paloma’s Got Talent aims to showcase how Paloma allows EVM developers to offload fast trading and automation of EVM functions on a co-processor chain that provides access to on-chain automation as well as on-chain AI prompts.
