JamesToken.6 was swapped for PalomaUSD (PUSD) on Paloma via a wallet on Arbitrum. Soon, any EVM wallet will be able to execute trades on Paloma. Thus, no cross-chain liquidity migration is required. PALOMAUSD GOES TO NATIVE PALOMA MODULE WITH ON-CHAIN GOVERNANCE
The Paloma team has begun work to migrate PalomaUSD from Cosmwasm contracts on Paloma into a custom Paloma Cosmos-SDK module. The objective is to increase PalomaUSD’s security and on-chain governance control. GRAIN token holders can vote on stablecoin monetary policy, and anyone can build apps that use PalomaUSD across all chains supported by Paloma. We look forward to re-launching PalomaUSD in a week!
COMPASS-EVM UPGRADING AGAIN TO HANDLE MILLIONS OF CROSS-CHAIN TOKENS
The Paloma Compass-EVM Design is not built for a Paloma protocol with millions of cross-chain tokens on many chains. If the current design persists, upgrading Paloma Compass-EVM would cause link consistency problems. This week, the Protocol team will upgrade Compass-EVM to handle upgrades that will impact millions of tokens with low gas impact.
