COO! COO! A new release is on its way for Paloma as we upgrade Paloma for more efficient valset updates. Given our ETH burn rate, we recognize that security is more appropriate when there are messages to secure. This new release will lower the valset update frequency for once weekly in the absence of messages to relay. This will ensure that validators cost go down, but that security of the crooss-chain communication layer is maintained. We want pigeons to stay with the flock and generate highly profitable fees for message passing. Look out for the tag and call for testnet Pigeons to test the upgrade! COO! COO!
