COO! COO! Coongratulations, all pigeons! We hit a record 24-hour trading volume on PalomaDex with the launch of our trading competition on August 8. However, we have paused our stock airdrop promotions to address the Optimism bridge issues of repeating batches. We have suspended Buy/Sell on the Dex, and we have also suspended OP bridge chain selection. We have voted to resync the Optimism bridge, but we are currently working to upgrade Paloma before re-instating the buying and selling of stocks. We will also reward our loyal birds who won the stock trading challenge. COO! COO!
PALOMADEX BUY/SELL FOR STOCKS DISABLED TO UPGRADE PALOMA BLOCKCHAIN BRIDGE
The PalomaDex Buy/Sell for stocks has been disabled as the protocol team begins work on upgrading the Paloma Skyway bridge. This upgrade is expected to take at least 1 to 2 months, given the prevalence of multiple batch sends of the same tokens. We will bring back Buy/Sell once the upgrades are on Paloma mainnet.
WINNERS OF THE STOCK TRADING AND LP COMPETITION WILL BE ANNOUNCED
We have not forgotten the winners of the stock competition! We know the pigeons must feed. We will be working on putting together a winners list from the on-chain transaction history. We’ll try to get that out to the flock by this Friday, August 22, 2025. COO!
PALOMA VOTE TO RESYNC OBSERVED NONCES ON OPTIMISM
The Paloma vote to resync the Optimism bridge was successful. Thank you to all the pigeons who voted and the validators. All chains and all bridges appear to be operating normally.
PALOMADEX FRONT-END WILL REMOVE OPTIMISM CHAIN OPTION
To reset the nonce on Paloma, the Volume team will remove the Optimism chain select option for swaps and adding liquidity. This will be done while the vote to upgrade Paloma is scheduled. Pigeons with assets on OP will be asked to hold off on trades until this vote is completed.
