COO! COO! Pigeons. Yesterday, Paloma had its first $1MM TWAP. Unfortunately, validators were unable to come to consensus due to a number of pigeons not being able to attest to their observations on the Ethereum mainnet. We believe this issue is now a problem as block space fills up with activity as ETH price rises. Paloma protocol team will prepare a new release that will implement attestation checks on all validators. Validators will receive feedback on how well their RPC endpoints respond to attestation requests. Pigeons that take too long will be jailed and will need to update their RPC endpoints. Testing continues on Paloma’s Cosmos SDK 0.50.0 as well as coming upgrades for Pigeon Feed! COO! COO!
