Simple Summary
We ask the Paloma Foundation to set aside 1,800,000 GRAINS for Paloma Genesis Community Validators to Claim as GRAINs for their support of the Paloma network series of testnets that ran in 2022. This is a signaling vote for mainnet validators to approve the request and will come before any other vote on the movement of GRAINs.
Abstract
We ask the Paloma Foundation to set aside 1,800,000 GRAINS for Paloma Genesis Community Validators to Claim as GRAINS for their support of the Paloma network series of testnets that ran in 2022. This is a signaling vote for mainnet validators to approve the request and will come before any other vote on the movement of GRAINs.

Motivation
The Paloma Foundation’s mandate is to support the stakeholders continue success to build and maintain the Paloma network. The Paloma community validators are one of the key stakeholders as they continue to support the paloma network with datacenter resources of servers, developer operations skills and software. The Paloma Foundation needs the community to direct it to support this stakeholder group and the GRAINdrop aims to do so.
Specification Overview
Signaling vote to confirm that the number of grains and validators will have the Foundation’s approval and that a community proposal to request GRAINS to be delivered to a designated contract will be the appropriate next step.
